include facial expressions, voice tones, gestures, body movement and position, use of touch,
and gaze.
▪ Nonverbal cues serve a variety of functions in community.
• Help express our emotions, attitudes, and personality and to perceives those
characteristics in others.
• You communicate your personality traits with gestures and frequent
changes in voice pitch and inflection.
