, A. Describe in detail a technology-based game that could be used to teach
secondary algebra by doing the following:
1. Identify the game and a specific secondary algebra concept that is a key
component of the game.
For this assignment, I will be using the following items that I have created:
i. Online Escape Room: The London Mystery - This is created using the
software Genially. This website is a valuable resource for educators
due to its ability to create interactive and engaging learning
experiences for students.
ii. Student Handout - This document is created in Google Docs. This will
allow for easy upload into an LMS and can be integrated with Kami so
that students may annotate on it more easily. This document can also
be printed for students without a device or who need to be able to
physically write down problems.
iii. The Answer Key - This document is created in Google Docs. The
primary purpose of this document is in case the teacher is absent and
a substitute teacher may need the answer to help students through
the activity.
This game will address the secondary algebra concept of linear equations.
