, Introduction
The establishment of a strong working alliance is a collaborative effort. Individuals seek
the help of a counselor to achieve change. A robust working alliance encourages introspection
and the revelation of pertinent information, consequently making individuals feel ready to try
new approaches for dealing with a problem situation (Hiebert, 2005). Once the counselor and
client begin a session, they engage in a conversation aimed at targeting the problem situation.
Purposeful work forms the foundation of this interaction. Sequentially, this work prompts a
working alliance between the counselor and client.
In this paper, the integration of a working alliance between a Tim Hortons employee and
a counselor is planned. The context includes specifying the proposal of a working alliance and a
description of the setting and characters involved along with supplementary information. Next,
the plan involves a description of the intentions, how the plan is linked to working alliance
literature, and how the goals, process, and skills relate to the information learned in the course.
Thereafter, the evaluation plan highlights how success will be measured. Lastly, a maintenance
plan is formulated to describe the strategy that will be used to maintain a strong working
alliance.
