becomes very angry and punishes her. This increases her fear and distance from him.
Later, when Kezia’s mother is hospitalized, Kezia was alone with her father. One night, she has a
nightmare and cries in fear, as she often got bad dreams. Her father comes, comforts her, and lets her
sleep beside him. At that moment, Kezia realizes that her father loves her deeply, but does not know
how to express it.
The story ends with Kezia understanding her father’s true nature and feeling safe and loved.
