The P-Card is a valuable tool for small dollar purchases under
$10,000. When used correctly the P-Card can: - ANSWER-Reduce
paperwork• Improve efficiency• Speed up payments to
suppliers• Provide transparency
If it's a credit card, do I pay the bill? - ANSWER-No. P-Cards are
Corporate Liability and do not appear on your credit report.
Cards are issued with both the University and the cardholder's
names.
Who is eligible to receive one? - ANSWER-Employees approved
by their supervisor/department.• Full-time Faculty and Staff.•
Multiple employees within the same department may have
cards.• Hourly employees employed directly by VCU.
Contractors are not eligible
P-cards may be issued with a ________ up to a maximum
of$100,000. Additional justification for a limit above $50,000
