Aim of the experiment- To observe the plant cell In the permanent slide.
Materials required-
Prepared slide
Microscope
Theory -
Plant cell is an eukaryotic cell. It contains cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus and
cell organelles. It's main feature include to the presence of chloroplast and large vacuole.
The plant cell perform photosynthesis due to presence of chlorophyll in the chloroplast.
Procedure -
-Place the prepared slide under microscope and observe it under low power(10x).
-Locate the plant cells and identify different structures in it.
- Again observe it under high power(45X).
- Draw the labelled diagram of plant cell observed.
Observation -
The slide shows plant cells with cell wall.
The nucleus of the cell is clearly visible.
Conclusion -
The permanent slide shows plant cell with distinct eukaryotic features like cell wall and
nucleus.
Precautions
.Handle the slide and microscope with care.
.Focus carefully for clear observation.

Aim of the experiment-
To observe the structure of an animal cell using a permanent slide.
Material required
- Permanent slide of animal cell
-microscope
*Theory:*
Animal cells are eukaryotic cells with a cell membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus, and various
organelles.
It's main feature include it has no cell wall and it has irregular shape.
-*Procedure:*
.Observe the permanent slide under a microscope in low power 10x.
.Locate the animal cell and observe it's different structures.
. observe the slide under high power.
.Draw the labelled diagram of animal cell observed.
*Observation:*
Cell is irregular in shape .
It has a distinct nucleus.
The cell don't have cell wall.
Conclusion
The permanent slide shows the animal cell with typical eukaryotic cell feature.
Precautions
. Handle the permanent slide with care
.focus carefully for clear observation.
