Global Warming and Climate Change

There are many global ethical issues that affect and shape our world into what it is today.

Different approaches and opinions are some examples of factors that go in to how we deal with

these issues. One approach or idea is the utilization of an ethical framework to address problems

or issues. Ethical frameworks are utilized and create perspectives useful for reasoning what

course of action may provide the most moral outcome.

The issue that will be addressed in this assignment is climate change and global warming

specifically. When discussing ethics, global ethical frameworks are highly important. Ethical

frameworks are very vital to maintaining a society that has relationships that are healthy amongst

each other. Ethical frameworks make it possible to resolve problems of global ethics that impact

change have been discussed and developed.

Climate change is a very evolving issue in our global society. From global warming to an

increase in the amount of precipitation, the effects of climate change are vast. Global warming

contributes to hotter temperatures, more severe storms (hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, etc..),

increase in drought, and other negative impacts. According to the NRDC, globally 9 out of 10 of

the warmest years since 1880 have occurred since 2005, and five of those being from 2015 on.

(Amanda MacMillan, 2021)

One ethical framework that has been developed concerning this issue was the Paris

Agreement. To address this issue, in December 2015, the Paris Agreement was created.

Described as a breakthrough plan to combat climate change. This agreement set long-term goals
