Professional P Professional Presence and Influence Western Governors University Abstract This paper is a reflective essay on key principles learned in the graduate course, Professional Presence and Influence. Each section will explain my views on professional presence, personality preferences, mindfulness practices, and healing environments. Not only does my worldview of health and healing directly correlate to my professional presence in my nursing practice, but my unique personality also influences my nursing practice. I will discuss eight personal goals that I have set in alignment with the four aspects on being a whole person. And lastly, I will explore two optimal healing environments and describe how these concepts can be applied to my professional nursing practice. Introduction Just as each individual person is unique, so is each distinct nursing practice. The graduate course, Professio
