Difference task and function
- Task: set of images, words or sentences that patients are asked to respond to
- Function: (set of) mental process(es) necessary to perform a task
- Functions are not unique to a specific task
Common etiologies (causes)
- Stroke
- Infection (bacterial or viral
- Tumor
- Degeneration
- TBI (coup and contracoup)
