Working and Non-working Students
Both the working and the non-working students have very great academic performance and they
also participate in socializing and entertainment levels as well as the co- curricular activities. The
working ad non-working students always seem bring themselves to the modern environment of
learning. Although it’s hard for working students to combine both working and attending
classes, most of them always find a way to. The main differences that can clearly be seen is the
grades between working and the non-working students. Most people are always assuming that
the working students should always have lower grades which is true in some cases. This
particular theory however relies on the number of hours a working student is required to work in
a day. The hours a student works in a particular day or in a week the more likely their grades are
bound to drop. Compared to the non-working full-time students, the working students have more
experience following the different environments that working students in college have been in.
The fact that some students have jobs is an undermining disadvantage to college students.
Working students in most cases have to work though their academic performance running the
school errands and the milestones that come with the education system. In some cases, the
students that go to school are not able to support themselves leave alone cater for their own basic
needs. Working students are considered to be a norm. (Zhang et al, 2019) Students who work
while still continuing worth their studies are bound to face a lot of problems like being extra
exhausted and tired. Working students have to start their day way earlier than the others but
sometimes they feel that that is not enough. There are usually a lot of errands that working
students need to cater for before they can even get to bed from working to the school
