8-1 Final Project Milestone Five: Initial Draft of Discussion Section The Psychological and Physiological Causes of Stress PSY 520 The Psychological and Physiological Causes of Stress According to the descriptive statistic tables included in the research the relationship between the research question, “Can increased stress cause emotional and physiological health issues?” and the research findings is that the overall result of the study showed that increased stress did cause some form of mental and physical health issue. The results in this study ended up mainly showing that the type of stress that the respondents were experiencing would not be severe enough to cause extremely severe mental and physical health issues such as heart attacks or depression as 11 respondents that had some sort of stress and emotional problems related to the stress they also experienced some of the health issues.
