Case Study: Golden Maple Middle School 6 th Grade
I appreciate the opportunity to help design an e-learning
solution to fill knowledge gaps for your sixth-graders at Golden
Maple Middle School. After analyzing the learner data that my
team and I collected, I have several suggestions that may help
us develop e-learning modules that will guide your students
toward success.
The first type of learner we identified I call a 'game-based
technology' learner. Learners of this kind are very familiar with
and enjoy using technology in the classroom. Technology also
allows us to differentiate instruction to meet each student where
they are in a content area. This can be for an individual on their
Chromebooks, or in small groups at stations. One learner's
response of "l really like it when my teachers create online games
to help us prepare for quizzes and tests." is a great example of
engaging students with a pathway they enjoy and feel confident
using.
One of the ways we can differentiate for the individual students is
to post private Blooket and CIMKit games on their Google
Classroom. These can focus on specific areas and change as the
students begin to show mastery in the accuracy reports of their
