WHEREAS the Lessor is the absolute owner of the property situated at [Complete Address of

AND WHEREAS the Lessee has requested the Lessor to let out the said premises on a monthly
rental basis, and the Lessor has agreed to do so under the following terms and conditions:
NOW THIS DEED WITNESSETH AS UNDER:
Rent: The monthly rent for the said premises is fixed at Rs. [Amount]/- (Rupees [Amount in
words]) per month, payable on or before the [Date]th day of every English calendar month.
Duration: The tenancy shall commence from [Start Date] and shall remain in force for a period of
11 (Eleven) Months.
Security Deposit: The Lessee has paid a sum of Rs. [Amount]/- as an interest-free security
deposit, which shall be refunded at the time of vacating the premises.
Maintenance: The Lessee shall pay the electricity and water bills as per the meter
reading/usage directly to the concerned authorities.
Usage: The premises shall be used for Residential Purposes only and not for any commercial

Sub-letting: The Lessee shall not sub-let the premises or any part thereof to anyone else.
Notice Period: Either party can terminate this agreement by giving One Month's notice in writing.
