A1. We should recruit internally and externally; this will help solve the current
supply shortage. Hiring internally will increase current employee satisfaction by
allowing current programmers to advance. Hiring externally will allow us to bring
in new talent, which could lead to new ideas from fresh perspectives. We should
hire senior programmers first. This will allow us to fill the vacant positions of
promoted employees.
A2. One thing Pruhart Tech can do to enrich the programmers’ jobs is give them
more challenging projects. Giving programmers more challenging projects will
allow them to use more skills, give them a greater sense of accomplishment, and
give them more responsibility.
B1. One type of information we will need for the senior programmer job is skill
requirements. We can complete a clear and thorough job description by knowing
and understanding the specific technical skills and development tools required for
the role.
B2. The method I would use to collect information on skill requirements is by
using subject matter experts. Subject matter experts, or SMEs, usually have
