pursuit that I see as the most exciting is equine nutritionist. Horses are my passion and
a job working with them would be very rewarding.

make yourself successful. you need to be able to take charge in any situation. for
example, if one of your animals gets out, then you have to get them back as quickly and

example, after prepping the field and planting it then waiting all summer for it to grow

efficiently, be honest, and be truthful.

when I demonstrated playing square with others is when my boss thought I worked
longer than I did so instead of taking the money and running I told him how long I
worked and got the right amount.

traditions of our national life are fair week and the show season. we work hard all
summer and at the end we get to show off all our hard work.

exert an influence in my home and community by following the rules, setting a good
example, and being an active FFA member.

farming. I also see environment friendly strategies. this will allow us to improve our ways
of feeding everyone so the world will not go hungry.

agricultural pursuit that I plan to be involved in is equine nutrition. I want to make horses
be as healthy as they can possibly be.

✔✔where or how do you secure knowledge and skills? - ✔✔You secure knowledge and
skill by being open to new ideas and listening to advice from others. For example, I
have a new horse and I am trying to develop a partnership with and teach her manners
on the ground and in the saddle. I enjoy taking her to shows and group lessons because
there is a lot of experienced people there with good input and ideas. I take their advice
and become a better horsewoman by doing so.

dependence on begging and more power in bargaining? - ✔✔I believe he started it with
" i believe in less dependence on begging and more power in bargaining" because if
you bargain then everyone is benefited but begging is when only you get something out
of the deal.
✔✔as fewer FFA members have the opportunity to live and work on a good farm, how
can our organization remain true to the industry of agriculture? - ✔✔To give FFA
members an opportunity to work on a good farm we can find several farms that are local
and go oversee what is being done or help out. you can also have livestock on campus.
my FFA chapter has a barn behind the high school which currently holds two pigs and
one calf that ffa members can help care for.
✔✔the industry of agriculture is always changing and the FFA creed has been revised
to reflect those changes. when we revisit the creed, why was the word farming changed
to agriculture? - ✔✔The reason the creed changed the word farming to agriculture is,
there is many different jobs included in agriculture that is not being a farmer. There is
more jobs now than there was back then because there was usually not big
corporations that we have now and it was just a small farm that grew enough for the
family and they didn't need jobs like ag mechanics.

struggles. - ✔✔Two struggles of former years are inefficient planting and drought. We
have created machinery like tractors and combines to work our fields and have created
watering systems to battle droughts. By doing these we have better days.
✔✔in your opinion, what are the associations that cannot be denied? - ✔✔Associations
that in my opinion can't be denied are FFA and 4-H. They both have to do with
agriculture. I can also apply it to horses which are my passion.
✔✔as roads and cities continue to make use of farmlands, what will happen to the
farms? - ✔✔The farms will slowly start to disappear. We can protect them though.
