Some verbs, at least in some contexts, do not need extra information to be
meaningful
Todos Los Dias estudio, trabajo y corro Every day I study, work and run
But other verbs need to add Objects, that is, more information, to make
complete sense. Example:
&
Todos los Dias veo…
• every day I see
Todos los Dias mando
• every day I send
We need to add something else to veo and Mando in order to have a fully meaningful
sentence: ¿ ves qué? ¿Mandas que a quien? We need to add direct objects and indirect
objects to make the sentence meaningful.
Todos Los Dias veo un episodio de mi serie favorita mi mejor amiga
Todos Los Dias le mando por lo menos in Mensaje a mi mama
In Spanish, if.a verb requires an object to be meaningful, the verb must always be
accompanied by an object be it a noun or a pronoun
• Me = me
• Te = you
• Lo/la = him/ her
• nos= us
• Los/las= them
