From 1783 until 1789 the Americans were ruled by the Articles of Confederation. They created
their own system that is neither monarchical nor republican, but rather federal.
After Independence, the governors of the 13 states started behaving as independent
countries. So, a meeting for all the delegates of the 13 states was called and chaired by
George Washington in Philadelphia 1781. The arrived at the conclusion that the Articles of
Confederation are no longer suitable to their aspirations and expectations for the country. So
they put it aside and wrote the American Constitution. All the heads of states were expected
to sign it in order for it to be approved, but some states refused to sign it until they added
"the bill of rights" to it.
Later on, Americans decide to start expanding to the west because a strong nation should be
bigger. So they gained Florida in 1819, North-West territories in 1783, purchased Louisiana in
1803, Oregon territory in 1846, won New Mexico and Texas from Mexico in 1848, and bought
Alaska from Russia. The Last state that was added is Hawaii to be the 50th state in the United
States of America.
The American flag has 50 stars that symbolize 50 states, and 13 horizontal strips that
symbolize the original 13 states.

The safety of the American president is of paramount importance, that's why all of the means
of transportation that he takes are highly protective. The car that the president uses is the
Cadillac one (or the beast), the Helicopter is called the Marine One, and the airplane he takes
is Air Force one. All of these means of transportation are supplied with high tech weapons
and enough shields and firewalls to maintain the safety of the president.
The order of the U.S presidents:
