A licensee must have an ACTIVE license to practice, however, may choose active, inactive or
retired when renewing.
What must a PT pay at time of renewal and at any other time other than renewal when
changing status from either inactive or retired? - ANSWERS-A renewal fee for both ACTIVE and
INACTIVE status is applied, however, renewal fee for INACTIVE status may NOT exceed fee for
active status renewal.
ACTIVE changing to INACTIVE:
@ time of renewal: pay inactive status renewal fee, and if applicable, delinquency fee & fee to
change licensure status
@ any other time: pay fee to change licensure status
ACTIVE or INACTIVE changing to RETIRED:
