How do geographically dispersed teams collaborate effectively?
Please find at least three tools on the market that teams can use to collaborate on a
geographically dispersed team. Please note the pros and cons of each tool.
Based on the research above, note which tool you would select if you were managing the
geographically dispersed team and why.
The organizations depend on the teams in the virtual world to reach the geographically dispersed
skills. Although, the dispersion of team creates a lot of challenge for the team communication,
this might influence the performance of team in a negative way. With the help of sample from
53 innovation teams, it showed different configurations of geographic dispersion. It might be
totally collocated to significantly dispersed. The team checks moderating role of those
transformational leadership over relationship between the team dispersion, communication of
team, and the performance of group. The results indicate that the transformational leadership has
been successful in decreasing negative effects on dispersion in those collocated groups. It might
be those having low standard of the geographic dispersion. This may not be successful in
assisting the development of performance of those groups which are significantly dispersed. The
particular effect is because of the difficulty of the transformational leader in improving the team
communication in strongly dispersed teams. An individual influence will have an effect which is
counterproductive in nature (Eisenberg et al ,2019). We talk about those implications of the
results in the theory, research in the future, along with the practice.
The firms conducting the operation of the electric power grid require the renewal along with
restructuring because of the introduction in the production of the local renewable energy. The
energy has a changed patterns along with the effect consumption. The political incentives are
