CASE SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
This case involves a 75-year-old male with long-
standing lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to
benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), complicated by
chronic urinary tract infections and bladder outlet
obstruction. Imaging revealed a distended bladder
with high post-void residual and bladder diverticulum.
Biopsy confirmed chronic cystitis without malignancy.
