The first thing I see is that it is a nearly-periodic wave. The amplitudes of the various
periods are slightly different. However, I’m able to differentiate the periods easily due to
the fact that they are so similar. I also notice that this particular low-pitch vowel has 10
different amplitudes. With this vowel’s spectrogram, you can clearly see many harmonics
being used during the sound. It also illustrates clear vocal fold vibrations. Lastly, the
spectrogram shows darker bands towards the lower-end of the frequency range, or 0 Hz.
This is to be expected as this is a low-pitch vowel.
