In 2010 AVG survey:
• Up to 80% respondents shared the
“baby/child journey” with family/friends; up to
25% shared publicly
• 8% created email acc for babies; 6% created
social media acc for babies; etc
Potential long-term implications

• For the child? Parents?
• “other” entities?
• Debates on Privacy, moral & ethical
implications, even possible use in criminal
and illegal activities/behaviours
