INSTRUCTIONS: ELECTRONIC ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSIONS
Dear student, Southern Business School implemented a new format of submitting your
assignment through a Google application known as the MySBS Google Classroom. You will
submit your assignment within this Google application, called the Classroom. Once
submitted, only the lecturer will be able to view and mark it.
You can also download the Google Classroom App for Android or iOS from the respective
App stores.
Electronic Assignment Answer Book:
IMPORTANT: First, download the Electronic Assignment Answer Book in order to start
completing your assignment answers. You can download the Answer Book directly
from the Classroom (Under the ABOUT tab) or via the following link : >
https://goo.gl/Udpgvo).
Remember to complete an Electronic Assignment Answer Book for each of your
registered electronic submission subjects.
Assignment:
To access your MySBS Google Classroom homepage simply navigate to the top right of your
MySBS inbox and select the Google Apps icon (nine squares below left) and look for the
Google Classroom icon (below right):

If you have not already signed in to the Google Classroom, you will have to SIGN IN to the
link above (classroom.google.com) to gain access to the Classroom by using your MySBS
credentials [username: , password: ID Number]. The subjects
which you are registered for are listed in the Classroom. Once you have logged onto the
classroom homepage, you will find the subject codes relevant to your registration for the
semester.
Inside each of your subject Classrooms, there is an assignment submission (Figure 1) that
you must complete an assignment for, upload and then submit. If the Classroom page is
empty, please ensure you are logged into your MySBS account and not with a personal
account (such as Gmail).
Completing the Electronic Assignment:
Before submitting your assignment, please take note of the assignment name inside the
Classroom which will begin with the subject code followed by the semester number and then
the word “Assignment” e.g. ACC101 2018 02 Assignment.
Once you have downloaded the Electronic Assignment Answer Book for each of your
subjects you must prepare and include your assignment(s) answers in FULL within each of
them. You must then name each answer book according to the naming conventions
contained within the Electronic Assignment Answer Book.
