1. Organizational culture of the company is an added advantage for them. The
incentives provided to staffs will be a driving factor for betterment of the product and the rate at
which they can reach their targets. The staffs and the owners are seen as equal partners which
will accelerate growth because no plans or innovations will go without being Considered. The
founders have also called outside consultants to assist improve design as well as clients to
relay critical feedback about products. This will make sure that they will develop a product for
the fishers that will be suitable for all their requirements.

2. The decentralized organizational structure of the company is a disadvantage to the
company’s productivity and innovation. If all employees evaluate all the company decisions
there will be a delay in decision making due to the different ideas and feelings of each individual
employee, needing to come to an agreement or majority vote to finalize a decision is not an
effective use of time. Additionally, I believe that each employee having access to the founders
would cause delays in different areas of their business as well. If an intern wants to spend time
with the founders for ‘relationship building’ that would be taking time away from the more
pressing matters of the company.

3. Organizational Culture: The culture this company has created will foster strategic
decisions based on the quality of ideas that are provided due to each employee being able to
voice their opinions. This will allow for multiple solutions to problems or ideas for innovation, at
which time they can collectively decide on the best option for the scenario. The employees will
also be more inclined to present their best ideas due to the incentives that are offered. This will
allow the founders to make the best strategic decisions.

Organizational Structure: The organizational structure of the organization can influence
the company’s strategic decisions because the structure is decentralized, this will allow for
employees to make decisions in a timely manner rather than having to wait for approval from a
higher position. When the company moves into the Indian market, they will have to make quick
decisions to stay competitive and adapt to the various demands, preferences, and culture.

Vision Statement: The vision statement is noticeably clear, to be the most sustainable
company in their industry. This leads to decision making to choose the most sustainable
products to build their boats. The mission statement leads the company’s decision-making
process by allowing actual fishers to evaluate products and provide feedback. This will ensure
that their product will live up to their mission statement to provide customer driven design.



Ethical Statement: The company’s ethical statement to make decisions that are
sustainable for the customers and environment are displayed in how they assess and create
their boat. Using reclaimed plastic from Indian landfills as well as an environmentally friendly
