Determination of Serum Albumin
1. Observations:
- When we add 20 drops of bromocresol green (BCG) into the solution of NaCl and
Albumin, the more albumin albumin compares to the other solutions (NaCl
+Albumin), the more it's greener.
- The least Albumin (the most NaCl) in the solution has the lightest green.
- The most Albumin (the least NaCl) in the solution has the darkest green.
- The absorbances also gradually increase as the albumin is getting more in the
solution.
- The color after adding BCG to the solution of NaCl + Albumin changed from
yellow-green to green-blue.
