 sphincter vaginae of pubococcygeus is partially inserted into perineal body
so it supports as well as forms a sphincter.

 Possess 3 parts

o Fundus o Body o Cervix

 convex upper end of uterus
 Above the entrance of uterine tubes
 Covered by peritoneum
