common noun - answer A general name for a person, place, or thing
collective noun - answer a word that names a group
pronoun - answer A word that takes the place of a noun

Preposition - answerstarts a prep. phrase and shows the relationship b/w a noun/pron.

is, it provides information that further identifies or defines it.
