• What is a rule?
• A rule is a set of explicit regulations or principles within a particula
area of activity. Rules must be followed in sport to make the the g
fair and enjoyable for everyone.
, To start the game...
• Toss-
A toss of a coin is done at the start of a game to determine who will serve
first. The winner of the toss can then choose which end they want to start
and who serves first.
• Serving-
To start a rally you must serve the shuttle. When serving the shuttle you
must hit the shuttlecock under hand and below waist height. On the cour
there are 2 boxes on each side, these are the service boxes. When serving
the shuttle must go completely over the net into the opposition box. The
shuttle must land in the diagonal square. Which side you serve from depe
on the score of the game. If the score is even e.g. 0,2,4,etc you serve from
the right hand square. If the score is odd you serve from the left hand box
you win the point you continue to serve until you lose the point.
