Politics; is change over time, Law is responsive to how people are feeling

o Look for difference in times and see the progressive change
What happens in between changes the way we think about politics
o Sexist and Racists adds in 1960’s and now presidential candidates break
that type of thinking
Politics explains what change transpires and why.
o Same Sex marriage was looked at differently in the US and Canada.
o This enables change to happen differently at different paces (10 year’s
difference)
