convinced that the government should provide all students with free education because the
advantages of free education have outweighed the disadvantages. For instance, all students will
get to graduate regardless of their social class, scholars would not be crushed by unpaid student
loans, they would have the freedom to choose a major they enjoyed, and the student population
would grow (Julian 2019). Furthermore, free education will result in significant economic
growth and encourage students to concentrate more on their studies. As a result, I support the
concept of free education because of the many advantages it would provide to us as students.
Free education will guarantee that all students, regardless of their social status, receive a
certification. Our existing educational system only benefits students from high-income families.
As a result, if a student is unable to afford the tuition fee, they will not to graduate. Some
students drop out because they cannot afford to pay tuition throughout the years. This reason for
learners not graduating would be eliminated if the government abolished their tuition fees.
Additionally, this will also boost college graduation rates, as fewer students would feel
compelled to drop to part-time status or discontinue their education due to financial constraints.
If education is free, scholars will not suffer stress caused by unpaid student loans. Student loans
are the most popular type of financial aid sought by college students who cannot afford their
tuition. After school, however, they still work to repay their loans. As a result, this incurs
students long before they receive their first paycheck and causes tension. The money spent on
loans will be invested by students, benefiting the country's economy. Eliminating student loans
will alleviate student stress while also helping the nation economically.
Besides that, students will be able to choose a major that they genuinely enjoy. Current students
choose realistic majors that have a more enticing post-graduation income because they are aware
that they must repay loans as soon as possible (Cox et al. 2018). If paying thousands of dollars is
no longer an issue, parents and students will feel more comfortable studying for majors they
enjoy more than focusing on the paycheque. Students interested in their majors enjoy their
research field are more likely to stick with it and escape burnout. As a result, free education
would ensure that all students graduate and receive certifications for majors in which they are
genuinely interested.
By blocking education-related bills, the number of students in schools rises. Because of our
existing educational systems, many students drop out early because they realize they cannot pay
for college. These students would rather start working then than finish school, with debts they
cannot payback. High school students would have an incentive to remain in school and prosper if
college was free for all. Free education would not only encourage them to complete their high
school education, but it would also increase the student population. Many students are eager to
learn, and if assured that there would be no fee, they would enroll in educational institutions.
Moreover, free education will encourage students to concentrate on their studies. Students who
rely on student loans are often distracted because certain expenses, such as housing, books, and
laboratories, are not covered by the loan (Serge 2018). As a result, many students have to work
during their college years to make ends meet. Work can divert a student's attention away from
their studies, resulting in poor grades. Even if all of their expenses are covered, many college
students work to get ahead on their loan payments. If college is free for all, students would not
