(Extract from The Guardian, 2019 – article on urban
cycling)
"Cycling through the city is more than just a way to get
from A to B. It is liberation. The rush of air, the weaving
through traffic, the sense of autonomy – all of it makes
the cyclist feel alive. Yet, despite the joy, the city remains
hostile. Potholes gape like traps, buses thunder past with
indifference, and drivers glare as though cyclists are
intruders. Still, the bicycle persists: a quiet rebellion
against congestion and pollution."
