, Definición
Es una neoplasia testicular primaria del perro que se origina a
partir de las células de Sertoli del epitelio de los túbulos
seminíferos. Constituye uno de los tumores testiculares más
frecuentes en caninos.

Generalmente es unilateral y de comportamiento benigno, aunque
en un pequeño porcentaje puede presentar metástasis. Una
característica importante es su capacidad de producir
estrógenos, lo que puede generar un cuadro de hiperestrogenismo
y síndrome de feminización en el animal afectado.
