1. What is the Solar System?
The Solar System is the group of the Sun and all the planets and other objects that move around it.
The Sun gives light and heat to all the planets.

• The Sun is at the center of the Solar System.
• It is a huge ball of very hot gases.
• It gives us light and heat.
• All planets move around the Sun because of its gravity.
