Task1: Personal Leadership Evaluation
A: Signature Themes Report
1ST task for this course includes taking the Clifton Strengths Assessment. Assessment had
me answering quite a few question pairs. For each pair I had only a few seconds, and I had to
answer them using a comparison of which I felt more strongly between or select neutral. Having
never heard of the CliftonStengths Assessment, I was intrigued to see what my results would be,
and upon taking the evaluation, learned to put a name to the different strengths and leadership
styles I have as well as the domains they come from. My five Signature Themes are
Individualization, Arranger, Woo, Restorative, and Command. While some were exactly my
personality, others were a bit more challenging to make the connection with. This paper will
discuss my five Signature Themes and how they relate to my style of leadership and personality.
A1: Personal Leadership Analysis
Individualization is the first theme listed and is described as a focus on the talents and
weaknesses of the individual rather than grouping everyone as a single unit. It falls into the
domain of relationship building. A few key points include studying the individual to see what
strengths or weaknesses they have, what makes that person function, and how does that person
respond or react to certain situations. This matches my personality perfectly as I most often try to
find something unique or different about a person. In my current role I am a technical instructor
for diesel mechanics. I must look at the class as individuals and cannot teach the material the
same way to all students. One time when I was giving the final exam for a virtual class, I noticed
a student had failed even though they participated and answered all the verbal review questions
