The exam coverage includes advanced clinical knowledge assessed in
the APEA 3P High Stakes Exam provided by Advanced Practice
Education Associates (APEA). It focuses on the three core graduate
nursing competencies known as the "3Ps": advanced pathophysiology,
pharmacology, and physical assessment. The exam evaluates
understanding of disease mechanisms, diagnostic reasoning, patient
assessment techniques, and appropriate pharmacologic and non-
pharmacologic treatment options. Emphasis is placed on clinical
decision-making, interpretation of patient findings, and the application
of evidence-based practice in the management of common acute and
