Diabetes Management)
The BC-ADM Exam evaluates the knowledge and clinical
competencies of healthcare professionals in advanced diabetes
management and care. Administered by the American Association of
Diabetes Care & Education Specialists, the exam focuses on
comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients
with diabetes and related metabolic disorders. Key topics include
diabetes pathophysiology, pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic
interventions, insulin and non-insulin therapies, and medical nutrition
therapy. Candidates are tested on patient-centered care, advanced
clinical decision-making, monitoring and interpreting glucose data,
