Academic Integrity: A Shift in Understanding My Responsibility as a Student
Before engaging with UNISA's proposed University Integrity Course, my understanding
of plagiarism was largely limited to the obvious act of copying another student's work or
purchasing essays online. I viewed original work simply as producing something that
had not been directly copied. However, the module's exploration of plagiarism revealed
a more nuanced reality that challenged this simplistic view.
