"Effective Communication: Speaking and Writing Skills"
Communication is the process of sharing information, ideas, or feelings with others, and it can be expressed through oral or written means. Oral communication involves speaking directly to others, such as in face-to-face conversations, meetings, presentations, or phone calls. It allows for immediate feedback, personal interaction, and the use of tone, gestures, and body language to enhance understanding. However, it may lead to misunderstandings if the message is unclear, and it often does not provide a permanent record. Written communication, on the other hand, involves conveying information through written symbols such as letters, emails, reports, or memos. It allows careful planning of words, provides a permanent record for reference, and can reach a wider audience over time. The main challenge of written communication is the lack of immediate feedback, and messages may sometimes be misinterpreted if context or tone is unclear. Effective communication, whether oral or written, requires clarity, organization, appropriate tone, and attention to feedback, and mastering both forms is essential for success in education, work, and daily life.
