Exam Coverage
The exam coverage includes the knowledge and skills required for
licensing as a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
Administrator. It focuses on state regulations, licensing requirements,
resident rights, care planning, and facility operations. The exam also
evaluates understanding of medication management, staff supervision,
safety and emergency procedures, nutrition, and recordkeeping.
Emphasis is placed on compliance with California Department of
Social Services (CDSS) standards, ethical administration, and ensuring
quality care for elderly residents in residential care settings.
