Exam Coverage
The exam coverage includes advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation
and management concepts assessed in the BSMH Advanced
Arrhythmia Course. It focuses on the identification and interpretation
of complex cardiac rhythms using ECG monitoring, including atrial,
junctional, and ventricular arrhythmias, as well as heart blocks. The
exam also evaluates understanding of electrophysiology, conduction
pathways, and the clinical significance of rhythm abnormalities.
Emphasis is placed on correlating ECG findings with patient
symptoms, recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias, and applying
appropriate interventions and treatment strategies such as
medications, defibrillation, and pacing.
