Your commander is planning a series One-way and two-way communication will be used
of Officer Development Program
classes. He invited you into his office
to discuss the subjects he wants to
cover. He wants to include officers
who are serving at different
locations, as well as those assigned
locally. The classes for officers in
remote assignments will be
presented as reading assignments
with no response requirement, while
the local classes will be discussion
groups.
, You recently graduated from the Prepare yourself personally and professionally for
Army Medical Department Basic the job
Officer Leader Course and just
received your assignment orders.
Before arriving at your new
organization, you learned that there
are specific actions you should take
prior to reporting. During the interim,
you make a trip to the clothing sales
store on post and ensure you have
the necessary uniforms and correct
patches.
Your unit is supporting an Iraqi
school. During several of your early
visits to the school, you overheard
some of your Soldiers say that the
teachers must not be very smart
because they don't even speak good
English. You learned that the
teachers were well educated, even
though they weren't proficient in
English
Roadside spot checks of dispatched Draft
vehicles reveal a trend of poor
preventive maintenance checks and
services (PMCS). Your commander
has asked for your ideas on how to
improve the performance of PMCS.
You decide to give him your
recommendations in writing. You
quickly write a memo. You know
there are errors in it but decide to
wait to correct them.
