Hope you’re doing well and getting ready to crush that exam!!
About me:
I am Manya - final year MBBS student 👩⚕️.
A lot of you guys saw my reel and texted me to help you for NEET. I
am not a professional guide but I think as someone who has gone through what
you are doing now, I am qualified to help. This is what I had followed when I was
preparing for my exam and cleared it in first attempt ❤️
Below is the ultimate guide for your NEET preparations including important topics
from all three subjects and my advice for preparation.
You’ll do great!! All the best!! 😊❤️
My Strategy to Ace the Exam!
● Start slow. Do not burden yourself with too much from the start. It’s okay to build pace slowly.
● Study 8–9 focused hours daily, not 12–14 unfocused hours; consistency matters more than extreme
study days.
● Divide time roughly like this:
○ Biology: 3.5–4 hours
○ Physics: 2.5–3 hours
○ Chemistry: 2–2.5 hours
● Biology is your rank maker (360 marks). Read NCERT at least 5–6 times, memorize diagrams,
tables, and examples. Everything is a potential question!!
● Physics improves only with practice, so solve 30–50 MCQs daily and keep a formula sheet for
quick revision.
Pro tip : put it as your phone wallpaper.
, ● Chemistry strategy:
○ Physical → practice numericals daily. Build your concepts, don't just memorize the
questions.
○ Organic → understand mechanisms and reactions. Use one shot videos to cover fast
○ Inorganic → revise NCERT lines repeatedly. It is rote (ratta) only
● Solve previous year questions regularly (last 30–35 years if possible); many concepts repeat in
NEET.
● After finishing a chapter, immediately solve MCQs; don’t wait to complete the whole syllabus.
● Revise every day for 1–1.5 hours; without revision you’ll forget 50–60% within a week.
● Keep a mistake notebook and review errors weekly to avoid repeating them in tests.
● Give one full mock test every week initially, then 2–3 per week closer to the exam.
● Focus more on weak areas but maintain strengths, especially Biology accuracy.
● Sleep 6–7 hours daily; lack of sleep will decrease retention and problem-solving ability.
● Avoid too many books; stick mainly to NCERT + PYQs + one MCQ source per subject. Any
coaching module works fine.
● Aim for high accuracy rather than attempting everything, because negative marking affects ranks
significantly.
● Lastly, your mental health is more important than everything else. Take care of yourself ❤️
