B4 Engine flame out - Auto over land procedure
1. Lower collective
2. Set Vy
- If relight unsuccessful or post TR failure -
3. Twist grip throttle to Idle position
4. On final, turn into wind
5. At 70 ft, commence flare
6. At 20-25ft, constant attitude, slightly raise collective to reduce ROD and
forwards speed.
7. Level (slightly nose up)
8. Cancel side slip
9. Cushion touchdown
10. Control ground run
11. When stopped, lock collective
12. Apply rotor break

1. Collective - Full down
2. When NR stabilises, check forward to gain airspeed according to height
3. Apply Auto procedure
