The Healthvana app was proposed in 2015. It uses existing technology and
combines it with a business model to make healthcare more accessible and
affordable (Hwang and Christensen,2008). Patients with STIs are not on the
radar for large markets. The Healthvana app targets this population to
create a market for “better care at lower costs” (Healthvana, 2015, 0:55).


3. Analyze the innovation. Complete a six-factor analysis of the
innovation (based on Herzlinger’s “Innovating in health care—
Framework”).

a new mechanism of care. This
attitude could create negativity
among providers which could
translate to inefficient patient care.

and clinic staff are our partners and
