Well being - ANSWERS-An overall state of feeling comfortable, happy, and
healthy. It is made up of many components including mental health.
Mental health - ANSWERS-Includes psychological, emotional, and social
aspects of thinking, feeling, and behaving. It is a prerequisite to realizing
potential, being able to cope with stress, and being productive in
work/school.
Mental health/wellbeing continuum - ANSWERS-Good well being does not
equal good mental health and vice versa. People exist on a continuum. For
ex: someone may have a mental illness (low mental health) but having a
good day and experiencing high levels of well being.
Biopsychosocial model - ANSWERS-Mental health can be in 3 domains:
