Endocarditis - ANS -An infection of the heart's inner lining, usually
involving the heart valves.
Heart failure - ANS -a condition that occurs when the heart is unable to
pump enough blood to meet the body's needs
Murmur - ANS -Abnormal swishing sound caused by improper closure
of the heart valves
Bradycardia - ANS -Abnormally slow heart beat
Tachycardia - ANS -Abnormally rapid heart beat
Heart block - ANS -interference with normal conduction of electrical
impulses that control activity of the heart muscle
Fibrillation - ANS -Rapid, quivering, noncoordinated contractions of the
atria or ventricles
