1. ABSTRACT
This case study examines the assessment and
management of a 54-year-old female presenting
with abdominal pain in the emergency setting.
Abdominal pain is a complex symptom with
multiple possible causes ranging from mild to life-
threatening conditions. This report uses a structured
nursing approach, including SOAP notes, to
analyze the patient’s condition, identify possible
diagnoses, and develop a comprehensive care plan.
Emphasis is placed on clinical reasoning, patient-
centered care, and evidence-based nursing
interventions.
