Exam coverage for YVR AVOP - Test Practice - Getting Your AVOP -
Module 3 includes the airport vehicle operation knowledge required
for safe driving on the airside environment at Vancouver International
Airport (YVR). It focuses on airside driving rules, apron and
manoeuvring area procedures, airport signs and markings, lighting
systems, radio communication, right-of-way requirements, and vehicle
safety standards. The exam also evaluates understanding of restricted
areas, aircraft hazards, winter/weather considerations, emergency
procedures, and compliance with airport operational regulations.
Emphasis is placed on maintaining situational awareness, preventing
,incursions, following AVOP rules, and operating vehicles safely and
professionally in an active airport environment.

Obtaaining a YVR __ ___ a person must have a valid RAIC issued by
YVRAA, and a full Provincial, Territorial, or US State driver's license
and a signed application from the company sponsoring you. At the
time of application, the driver's license must be presented to the
YVRAA Access Control desk for verification.
