- Welcome to the 9th grade story analysis page. Today’s
discussion is The Most Dangerous Game. Here is everything
you need to know from the beginning to the incredible plot and
ending.
- We are first introduced to two new characters, Sanger
Rainsford and Whitney. These two characters and they hunt
animals as a hobby of theirs. Whitney and Rainsford decided to
plan a trip and go to the Amazon Rainforest to hunt Jaguars.
They used a yacht as their transportation, but they had to
make a stop by the eerie looking Ship-Trap Island for a well
rest goodnight before reaching to their destination.
- Ship-Trap Island was scary enough that even the strongest men
and hunters were uncomfortable with visiting them. Just by
driving or moving past it, anyone could feel chills run through
their body. It was incredibly dark, Rainsford could barely see
anything. Their only source of light came from the yacht.
- After a discussion with Whitney, Rainsford decided to go
smoke before going to bed. Whitney stayed on the yacht
asleep while Rainsford went further into the island as he
smoked a cigar. Suddenly, he heard gunshots coming from the
depths of the island. Thankfully, he dodged all the bullets, but
he was scared. He decided to go look for the direction of the
bullet though he ended up falling in the Caribbean Sea due to
the darkness.
- After a few attempts of trying to survive and trying to find
land, he eventually spotted light coming from the island. He
got closer to the light and landed in the forest. He was
incredibly tired and couldn’t move so he decided to rest
between the trees and bushes. After a short wile of resting, he
