ASEXUAL REPRODUCTION
Reproduction in which offspring are produced by a single parent, without
the union of sex cells.
CHROMOSOME
A structure in all living cells that carries the genes that determine heredity.
DNA
Deoxyribonucleic acid - the molecule that carries genetic information for the
development and functioning of an organism.
DOMINANT
A dominant allele is a variation of a gene that will produce a certain

GENOTYPE
Genotype is the genetic makeup of an individual cell or organism that
determines or contributes to its phenotype.
HEREDITY
The passage of biological traits or characteristics from parents to offspring
through the inheritance of genes.
INHERITANCE
